I was asked to prepare an intro to a wedding video that followed, roughly, something they had seen elsewhere. The general theme is a camera panning over a large pile of leaves, stopping at various intervals to reveal a photo from their end client's weddings. Another requirement was to ensure the photographs could be changed at will from within After Effects. I prepared the leafs animation in 3d, imported into After Effects and composited in placeholders to hold the photos, synced to the movements of the camera to ensure they appeared integral to the shot. Photos can be replaced esaily by simply replacing footage within AE.
The link leads to a preview of the 3 minute animation - it should be noted that to reduce filesize, the framerate has been dropped to 15fps.
